Highlights of Dutch art and culture

A new digital presentation shows the highlights of Dutch visual art, fashion, design, architecture (including mills and libraries) and the art of book printing.

Airport Library is the showcase of Dutch culture. A way of implementing that function is a non-stop digital presentation of photos of 200 highlights of Dutch art and culture.

The presentation starts with the oldest known Dutch piece of art, the Little Man from Willemstad, a small wooden sculpture dated c. 5400 BC. The last photo is of the Depot of the Boymans van Beuningen Museum by the architects of MVRDV, built in 2021. In between other highlights of Dutch visual arts, fashion, design, architecture and the art of book printing. And there are pictures of Dutch mills and libraries as well.

In the near future about 80 highlights of Dutch design and fashion will be added to the presentation.
